HP552R is a homopolymer polypropylene known for its high conductivity, primarily used to produce staple fibers, CF (continuous filament), and BCF (bulk continuous filament). This grade is suitable for spinning at medium and high speeds. Although homopolymer polypropylene has higher tensile strength and stiffness than polypropylene copolymer, it is more brittle, particularly at low temperatures, especially below zero.
